Well, how is SE then different from the typical forum/message board? So often comments were wrong and were upvoted (and they can't be downvoted).

• Wiki answers are allowed

So I'm sorry, but that argument does not stand. Unless turning SE into a message board is the goal.

No "bits" have a place in comments—unless turning SE into a message board is the goal.
