I figured it'd happen at some point, congratulations Peter! I've personally benefited from several of your answers, and I've heard the same sentiment from many other users on Aviation Stack Exchange. Thanks for all you've done!

It's been a lot of fun being here for the last couple years, watching that number spiral slowly upwards. Big milestone for Peter and the site in general :).

I know, it's not a question. But it's nifty, and I just wanted to make sure people are aware.

  • $\begingroup$ ... every morning, Peter Kämpf does fifty pushups with both hands, fifty pushups with each hand, and fifty pushups with no hands? $\endgroup$ – E.P. Jan 21 '17 at 15:20
  • $\begingroup$ @E.P. lol, you can edit the post and add that in if you want, it's community wiki :) $\endgroup$ – Jay Carr Jan 23 '17 at 17:17
  • $\begingroup$ @JayCarr naw, that's an old Chuck Norris one, the current list is too pristinely aviationy to soil it with something as mundane as exercise. Though on the other hand the no-hands pushup isn't as unrelated to aviation in the end? $\endgroup$ – E.P. Jan 23 '17 at 17:27
  • $\begingroup$ Exercise? That's like a pilot's kryptonite! $\endgroup$ – Steve V. Jan 24 '17 at 0:13
  • $\begingroup$ make the impossible turn from any altitude is not a problem. Given enough airspeed, you can do it at any altitude. $\endgroup$ – kevin Jan 24 '17 at 13:52

  • $\begingroup$ @acpilot You should add that to the list as well :) $\endgroup$ – Jay Carr Feb 8 '17 at 20:34
  • $\begingroup$ @kevin yes, but Peter can do it with negative airspeed (go ahead, try and wrap your head around that.) $\endgroup$ – Jay Carr Feb 8 '17 at 20:34
