Should we make the crash-investigation tag a synonym for accident-investigation?
Personally, I would say yes. I don't see any benefit on having the two separate tags.

Why do you have to have votes on a tag before you can suggest a synonym?
The general idea is that if you don't have at least 5 up-votes in a tag you probably don't have enough domain-specific knowledge to be suggesting synonyms. A good question (or answer) can easily ...

Merge [boeing-747-8] → [boeing-747]?
It was discussed that we do not need variant-specific tags of aircraft models here. Unless there is a change in consensus, I support the tag merge.

Should "flight-dynamics" be a synonym of "aircraft-physics"?
Personally, I think that flight-dynamics is a subset of aircraft physics, not a synonym, so I don't think the tags should be merged.

Should "trim" and "trim-tab" tags be merged?
I think [trim] needs a new description
Not all aircraft use tabs for trim -- some use other devices instead, and the [trim] tag should cover all means of trim, not just trim tabs.

The tags [radio] and [radio-communications] should be synonymized or clarified
To me they are different and the radio tag info should be modified/updated.

Can we merge [icao-recommendations] into [icao-sarps] and make it a synonym?
Edit 3/11/21 : This has now been implemented.
There are two primary reasons why I think icao-sarps should be the preferred tag and icao-recommendations should be a synonym to it, rather than the ...

Quite honestly, I think far-91 and the like are perfectly fine. There's no risk of someone seeing "FAR" and thinking that we're talking about the Federal Acquisitions Regulations.
