It does not answer the question. I reckon that comments are more valuable than chatrooms, as also indicated by the pop-up window that appears when you hover over the up-vote triangle left of the comment: This comment adds something useful to the post. But my main point is a potential conflict of interest. The rest of us cannot remove critical comments.
